This is not an easy answer but there are 3 main ways Wedding Planners charge:

A Flat Rate is typically the easiest to budget for. Wedding planners typically have all the details ironed out for this plan. They know how many meetings to anticipate with each vendor, how many venues they typically show before a couple finds the right one and how much time it takes them to help you create your vision.

  • Full Service Wedding Planning    $4,500 – $12,000+
  • Partial Planning                                 $2,300 – $6,000
  • Day-Of                                                  $1,000 – $3,400

Hourly is a great option if you’re doing most of the planning yourself and need very specific assistance. The planner will keep track of the hours it takes to assist you with the final details and this can be a more affordable option for our DIY couples.

  • Hourly Rate                                        $75 – $275

Percentage Pricing is based on the total amount of your wedding. This may be hard to factor into your budget until you know exactly what you want for your big day. Once you get is squared away, there is little fluctuation.

  • Percentage                                         10% – 20%
